My heart. It is learning to be still and many things whirl in my mind. Heavy things and joyful things, but in all things -my mighty God! He is here. I trust.

Too Cute...Tuesday!

I have loved your dolls for so long and when you opened your Christmas Cart last fall, I set an appointment reminder in my email so I wouldn't miss an opportunity to get one for my son, Avery. It was such a blessing because not long after the doll came, I found out I would be deploying to Afghanistan for 6 months. I slept with for a few weeks before I left and we gave him his doll for Christmas. I left a few days later. I am going home next week and can't wait. But I wanted to show you a few pictures of my son with his doll.

thank you for your ministry!

~AWE!!! Avery is so darn handsome!

A few of my favorite things....Living Proverbs 22:6

"Train up a child
in the way he should go,
even when he is old
he will not depart from it"
-Proverbs 22:6

Today I would love for us to share some of our favorite things...some of our favorite "tools" per say, that help us train up our children. Obviously, this is our desire for Baby be Blessed Dolls. To be used as tools to train. But, let me make my heart on this very clear.

These things are in NO replace directly reading the word of God to our babies from our Bibles.

But-there are "tools" out there in which can be used in our everyday lives that draws us to the Word of God. Here are a few of my favorites.

Kolton rarely sits still. As Grandma Shopp says...he just doesn't have any sit in his butt!

So when he IS still I wanted to take advantage of it. Since the kids have started school, Kolton and I eat lunch alone together. What a great opportunity! I read the Bible to the older kids during breakfast, so how awesome to read this Storybook Bible to Kolton during lunch!

I really love how each story brings Christ to the heart.

Another thing that I love is Seeds Family Worship!

Putting scripture to's amazing! What an awesome way to remember God's word. I've heard my kids quoting scripture (which caught my ear) and then realized that it was the scripture from the Seeds Family Worship CD's.

It's catchy and so fun!

Another love I have are all the beautiful things we can put in front of our eyes during the day.

Our eyes are the door into our soul...lets fill it with God's promises and hope! I think we all could use a little (or a lot) of that during the day!

I absolutely LOVE this Child of the King -Product by "Show Offs Art" and sold by DaySpring and ps... This beautiful print is on sale 56% off at $24.99!

So how about you? What "tools" have you used or surrounded yourself with to train up your children? I've included a linky below so we can all share!!

Can't WAIT to see all your discoveries!!

Too Cute...Tuesday!

*Email from our sweet friend, Danae*
I saw that you were missing some pictures and I thought I'd send you a few :)

The picture labeled 'Amahle' is Amahle, one of our sponsored children in South Africa, and Vashti Downs, the co-founder of Project O

The photo labeled 'Bezuayehu' is my husband Steve, myself, our sponsored child in Ethiopia, Bezuayehu, and her mother. You can't really tell in the picture, but they live in a mud and straw shack about the size of our bathroom. They live with three other siblings in an area that contains rabid dogs and cats and has a high AIDs infection rate. They called us family when we came to visit them.

The photo labeled 'Zulu' are two little girls who live in the Valley of 1,000 Hills. Martin Downs, Vashti's husband, told us that these two little girls watched as their parents were murdered. They now live with their aunt who fears for their lives. Since they saw the faces of their parents killers, the people will come back and kill the girls.

The picture labeled 'Wanellie' is a picture taken at a South African homeless shelter. Wanellie is a 3-month-old baby who lives at the shelter with his mother and father. In South Africa, homeless shelters are a business and they have to be paid for. Nellie was a great mother and, I kid you not, every time I was at the shelter, he was in the bath. You could tell how much she cared for him. It was really sad to see them there.

Hopefully those pictures are good for Too Cute Tuesday :) Hopefully Vashti can send some more pictures when they distribute the rest of the dolls.

With Love,

Danae, thank you! ~Sweet faces of Jesus' people...I'm pouring my prayers over each one. Please join me. God be near....Father use these simple dolls to show your love, your truth and your hope to each of these children and every person they come in contact with. Bless them Lord, Protect them Lord, Guide them to you..... Jesus in your precious name, Amen

Prayer Requests

Let us pray for one another!

I may have mentioned this before...but it stands strong on my heart this morning as we ask for your prayer requests. Satin tends to use the same tactics over and over. One of the most powerful lies the enemy has whispered to me personally is that I am alone. Lies of fear, lack of control and the unknown are have also been a crippling thing to push through.

"When he tells a lie, he speaks from his own nature, because he is a liar and the father of liars." John 8:44

Sweet, encouraging, loving, fervently praying friends have helped me see these lies clearly.

As a Christian we are marked and ransomed by the blood of Jesus Christ. Satin has no authority over us...he can only lie to us. He can only make us doubt the hope, truth and power that we really have.

We may not know you, we may only know your name or a smidge of your story, but we would love to join together and pour our prayers over you.

You are NOT alone...there is NO need to fear...and GOD is in control!

"The Lord your God is the One who goes with you to fight for you against your enemies to give you victory." Deuteronomy 20:4

We are hear with you! We are praying for you!
If the Lord leads...please leave your requests below and continue to pray over last weeks requests.

1. Husbands salvation, Direction, Peace, Wisdom, a new (on fire) passion for the Word of God. His mighty hand on our family...

2. For Belinda, Uyen Nhi, Bezuayehu, the children of the Lafto center in Ethiopia, Ali, Amahle, Abigail, MD Jamil, Anand Kumar, and the twin granddaughters of Hlengwe.

3. Compassion Guatemala trip....

4. Please pray for my daughters health. She has an upcoming kidney u/s and VCUG. I'm sure everything is fine, but it's still scary.

5. our foster to adopt baby's birth father has finally decided he wants to see her & work a case plan to get custody. tuesday is our first visit. i need God to keep my attitude in check. not sure dad wants her for the right reasons & we want her forever

6. We could really use a financial blessing. Shawn was laid off and even though he found a new job quickly we are struggling. We've had out new house for almost 6 months but are still unable to move in. We can't afford requirements to pass inspection.

7. Please pray for my bff in china with hubby picking up 18 mo old little girl. They are all having a rough time adjusting, they expected it to be hard but need prayer for patience and for her to trust them. Thank you so much for praying.

8. Please pray for my niece Kelli Beth. She's 19 months and will be having super hip surgery next year. Her hip never fully formed.

Yay...FREE Friday!

Now this I say, he who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully.

Each one must do just as he has purposed in his heart, not grudgingly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.

And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that always having all sufficiency in everything, you may have an abundance for every good deed; as it is written, "HE SCATTERED ABROAD, HE GAVE TO THE POOR, HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS ENDURES FOREVER."

Now He who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will supply and multiply your seed for sowing and increase the harvest of your righteousness; you will be enriched in everything for all liberality, which through us is producing thanksgiving to God.

For the ministry of this service is not only fully supplying the needs of the saints, but is also overflowing through many thanksgivings to God.

Because of the proof given by this ministry, they will glorify God for your obedience to your confession of the gospel of Christ and for the liberality of your contribution to them and to all, while they also, by prayer on your behalf, yearn for you because of the surpassing grace of God in you.

Thanks be to God for His indescribable gift!

2 Corinthians 9:6-15

I really LOVE Yay...FREE Fridays! My heart is cheerful! I am full of joy!
It's our opportunity to continue to give...and this is not to get any earthly rewards in return, only eternal ones. =)

This week we will be giving away a personalized doll of your choice to be included in the Christmas cart. As you know our carts are now closed, so this may be one of the last chances at getting a personalized doll under that tree.

Living Proverbs 22:6

This post has been started, stopped and deleted. Computer freeze ups and emotional freeze ups. Much has been going on in my heart...

I saw a quote on a blog (Holy Experience) by Ann Voskamp. This is was my first (of many) visits. I found her through the listing of bloggers going to Guatemala. They are there now...please pray over them. Her quote, or maybe a better term...simple truth, struck me to the core.

It was God trying to meet with me.

It read: "Wherever you are, be all there"
{I couldn't find the exact blog post so if you find it...please link it here...}

Let me tell you...I have not been "ALL" in anything for quite a while now.

When life is too busy and too crazy how can you be?

My faith, my marriage, my children, my ministries, my health and life -was suffering.

The fact is...I've been at a crossroads. It forks to the left in "Tina's way of doing things" and forks to the right in "the Lord's perfect way". The choice should be simple right?!

Hmmm...a spiritual battle rages.

I was raised to never make waves. You just try to keep the waters calm and if a storm quietly hang on tight. Impossible way to live life. (Tina's way)

Throughout the years the Lord has healed me in many ways though I still aim to please everyone, I do not like conflict and I try to keep those waters calm. (Tina's way)

But storms rage....

I'm trying to be everything to everyone. What does the Lord want? (Tina's way isn't workin'=)

Storms have been raging here at Baby be Blessed. This ministry is here in my home so everything runs into everything else and effects all areas of my life. It's part of who I am. It's the work that the Lord has given to me....but something has to change. I need to do things the Lord's way.

I smile big knowing that were Satin tries to destroy there is eternal work being done. I won't let him take my joy and by smiling and praising BIG I feel it knocks Stain right between the eyes...and it does. He has no power here.

But one must decide who's yoke to hang onto...which fork in the road to take.

Changes are coming to Baby be Blessed.

I once again surrender this ministry to the One who entrusted it to me...

Not everyone will like the changes and that is okay. Some people will be upset not to get exactly every detail they want, but that will be okay because I am following the instructions of the Owner of this joint...I'll just forward all the customer complaints to Him. HA!

But seriously...we have gotten so many complaints lately. I understand them and thank you for your emails letting us know. These are not quality issues. They are not liking certain details on the dolls. We use what fabrics we have on hand to meet your requests. That is noted on the website. And I DO make mistakes and try my best to correct them in a Godly manner as they come up. But people getting upset over which side I put a bow in the hair...I will no longer do. I simply can't.

Sometimes people can be so very hurtful. They make accusations about my heart and my God.

My God knows me and my heart. I long to one day stand before Him and strive hear those wonderful words..."well done good and faithful servant". He is the only one I fear.

So please let me say {in love} loud and clear for all the world to hear...

THIS is my heart....

The purpose of these dolls: To be used as a tool to teach your children the Word of God and the hope we have in Jesus Christ. To spread the word of doll at a time -That's it.

That's my heart, that's my mission and that's what we will continue to do.

"Wherever you are, be all there" and to that I say....Yes, Lord.
