We've got some major cuteness is here!

I am finally getting around to sending you a few pics of
Victoria Rose loving her dolly!! She has so much love for her dolls,
even her not so charming plastic ones, much to my chagrin - I am sure
she will appreciate her BBB dolly more and more as she grows up, she
is only 2 (I love the doll so much, as I am sure all the mommies
do!!). She received her doll in her Easter basket this year. I love
your company and your blog and your dolls

Sitting at His feet...

Good Morning Everyone!

Probably from your view things have been pretty quite around here. Actually to be honest, though we've been VERY busy on the doll side of things, I've purposefully have chosen to be pretty quite. I just need to sit and seek. I pray that you've all been there.... I love sitting at His feet. I'm clinging to them not wanting to move.

The Ruth study by Kelly Minter has been SO GOOD! I love how she mentions that "Sometimes we are told to quietly lean on our Savior and rest. At other times God calls us to actively wait. But we are always to stay close to our Redeemer."

Have any of you been spending time in this study? If you haven't...please pray about getting it. Equip yourself. Get involved in something, but make sure that it is a study that "brings you back to the scriptures, never to replace or overshadow them." Melissa Moore Fitzpatrick wrote that in the forward of Beth Moores Esther study... it always comes back to my mind.


My point....

If you seek He will answer. That is a promise! I think most of the time we are too busy being busy to actually hear his direction and will for our lives. So I choose to stop and seek and sit. It is wonderful. If you ask, the Holy Spirit will draw you in like a bee to honey!

So as I sit...it is not only for my own need but also for all of you. My heart has been burdened by all the heart aches and trials that some of you have shared and those that I see all around me in the hardness of this world. Good seasons or bad we all have a wonderful hope in Christ. Stand firm in the promises He has given to us and please know that we love all of you!

Trust in Him and His blessed plan for you life. Don't settle...

Too Cute...Tuesday!

This is our baby girl Hope, who is almost ONE with her "Hope" doll.
She is such a miracle. She is the fifth of our children but the third
living. She was born with a skin disease, Epidermolysis Bullosa and
we were very uncertain about her future. She is doing great and has
defied all odds. She is proof to us that ALL things are possible with God! :)

~Praise the LORD!
Hope is a beautiful gift!

Marvelous Monday!

Good Morning!
My family and I were on vacation last week, so I apologize for the quietness here on the blog! When somethings quite....somethings up! Just like when a house full of kids suddenly gets quiet...hmmm, their busy doing something and usually their something is something they shouldn't be doing. But our week away was a much needed break! I didn't take any work with me and decided that I would spend that time with the Lord instead. It was good!

We spend the week in Indiana with my In laws again this year. Last year we had plans pretty much every day going to aquariums and museums...but this year we kept it really simple. Simple is so nice... We did keep busy and made sure to get in our day of rafting...but most of afternoons were spent out on the porch overlooking beautiful hillsides. The kids were great and it was wonderful spending quality time with family!

One of my prayers before I left was that I would come back changed. That I would seek His face and have open eyes and ears to see and hear what He wanted to reveal to me. That did happen. He is faithful to answer when we seek. But this morning when I was outside the grey clouds were starting to break way to a beautiful day I was praising God. I was praying and reflecting over that past week. My mind came back to the request that I would come back changed....

Then my eyes looked down to this.........

You know, the Lord has a great sense of humor!

The Thompson family has come home with a new puppy. And not just a puppy...but a blood hound puppy. You know the ones that grow up big and have lots of slobbers!! It wasn't quite the change I had in my mind when I was praying...but I smiled and laughed as He brought that to my mind this morning!

I was surprised that my husband actually said yes...but I really had my eye on one of those CUTE little Amish babies. I guess he felt that this was a safer bet.... =)

Yay...Free Friday!!

It is Friday once again!! YAY!!

Not sure about all of you, but this week just FLEW by! The days just got all jumbled up and suddenly about an hour ago...it hit me that it was Yay Free Friday today! =) So here we are...
