Living Proverbs 22:6

"Train up a child in the way he should go
even when he is old he will not depart from it."
Proverbs 22:6

Summer is almost here!

Do you have some activities planned that keep Christ centered in your summer??

Focus on the Family publishes a magazine called Thriving Family. They had an article with some wonderful ideas on seizing the summer!! Enjoy your children as you nurture their faith!

I love it!!

One of their ideas was to create an alphabet scrapbook of God's creation. The first week would be the letter A and W. They could draw, take pictures or scrapbook items for each letter and you can discuss God's purpose for each.

Now my oldest is 11 (I think he would still have fun with this) and it is something my youngest at age 3 would love as well!

Another idea is to plant some flowers with your children. When you're done, tell them to wash by cleaning the dirt from their hands and fingernails. Explain how sin is like dirt that needs to be washed away. When we sin and ask God for forgiveness, He "washes" us clean. (John 13:1-11)

Isn't that awesome!

Do you have some ideas?

Do you know of any good websites with ideas??

Please share them with us...
Have a wonderful and blessed day!
