Too Cute...Tuesday!

Dear ladies,

Back in November, you hustled to pull together a personalized lamb for my best friend and her son, Jayden. Jayden had been diagnosed with a heart condition in utero, and we were in fervent prayer that the Lord would heal him. I am so incredibly delayed in thanking you for working so quickly to create Jayden's lamb and send it to his mama, but I wanted to let you know they did receive the gift and it stays with him in his crib.

Jayden had surgery to repair his heart shortly after he was born, and I am thrilled to let you know he is doing amazingly well. God has been so good to answer our prayers and create a beautiful testimony out of his story. While he is still monitored closely to stay on top of his condition, Jayden is now a very happy, healthy 7-month-old baby boy!

Thank you so much for working so diligently to create and send such a precious gift to my friend.

I've attached a photo of Jayden with his lamb!

Highest regards,
Jennifer Lyons

We are praising God, Jennifer!

Too Cute.... (um) Wednesday!

Today our sweet Danielle turned 5.

I ordered her doll months ago to be sure we would have it in time.

We spent the night in a hotel and brought her new doll to open first thing in the morning. Danielle was so excited when she opened her doll.

Her doll went to breakfast with us and shopping this afternoon.

Thank you so much for our dolls. We love them.
Danielle thinks her doll is so special because they have the same color of hair.

She also loves seeing her name on her new doll and knowing the Bible verse is the verse we chose when we dedicated Danielle at church.

Thanks again!
Sincerely,
Makila

~Thank you SO MUCH for sharing this special moment with us!
It was almost like we were right there with you! Happy belated 5th Birthday, Danielle!!!

Here they are!

Here they are...the fabric collections that you will be able to
choose from on the 2010 Christmas Cart!

As we have looked at the rest of the year...some plans have changed. We really had to step back and look at what orders we have in house, along with what commitments we've made and then weigh out what we can feasibly make by the end of the year.

SO...instead of opening up carts on Sept. 1st we are going to open up the Christmas Cart instead. This will be done this week. For those of you who aren't familiar with the Christmas Cart... it guarantees Christmas delivery. Many of you have expressed Birthdays ect... in Sept. and Oct. asking if we will be able to make your order in time. I want to say UP FRONT that we can not promise that. As always, we will make your dolls in the order we receive them and they will be shipped accordingly. The only guarantee we will make is that we will have all orders shipped out by December 6th in time for Christmas.

Orders will be limited and then we will have to close things back down for the year.

It's hard to believe that we are thinking about Christmas already...but it will be here before we know it. If you have any questions, please feel free to email us at babybeblessed@gmail.com

Thank you so much!

Living Proverbs 22:6

"Train up a child in the way he should go,even when he is old he will not depart from it" -Proverbs 22:6

*************************

I'm currently reading Shepherding a Child's Heart by Tedd Tripp.

I've had this book for years and remember going through it when I first got it...but it has hit me with new meaning this time around.

Not sure why...

And not sure why the Holy Spirit had me pick it back up other than the reason, I must have something to learn from it once again.

It is a really good book for anyone who has children or will have children and desires to raise that child up using biblical principles. I love how he discusses all the matters of the heart of a child and our responsibility...our God given duty to raise up that child in Truth.

What books are you reading right now?

Too Cute...Tuesday!

I had hoped to get these pictures to you much sooner with an update on our adoption! We are the family that was in the middle of adopting a Native American little girl and had no idea if the Tribe was going to allow our adoption to proceed or if they would take her away from us.

We ordered a doll for Kenna with the hopes it would be a welcome to our family gift, but knowing it could be a goodbye gift as well. We choose your dolls, because if she was taken from us, we wanted her to have a promise from God and for her to know of HIS GREAT love for her!

THANKFULLY, our prayers were answered and her doll became a welcome to the Kelley family gift!!!!!!

We also ordered a doll for our 8 year old! They both love them so much! Thank you for making such beautiful keepsake dolls! My 8 year old loves to read the promise on her dolls belly and ask why we choose this verse for her!

Thanks again!
Katrina Kelley

Simply ADORABLE!

Living Proverbs 22:6

The Power of a Name~
I finished the Ruth study at the beginning of this week...let me tell you, it was wonderful! From the study (Session 5 Day 3) Kelly Minter speaks of Redemption -A Name. She speaks of Boaz and his willingness to be Ruth's kinsman-redeemer and how he announces at the city gate that he has acquired Ruth, the Moabitess, the widow of Mahlon, to be his wife! (Ruth 4:10) Now this may not mean much if you don't know her past heritage...but long story short, she was a foreigner who's heritage leaves a long mark of being an enemy to God's chosen people, Israel.

When Boaz called her by name he was not ashamed of where she came from or who she used to be, but who she was!

This name thing really has been stuck on my heart. It actually has been for a while now as God allowed me to take a really good look at my own name a few months back.

Tina Rachel Scheer Kittel Thompson

Pretty loaded huh! =) Being adopted makes my name longer than most and my life journey a little different than most, but in each part of my name is a season. Some are good and some are bad...but none the less are a part of my heritage that God has put together to make me who he wants me to be.

Kelly brought us to Isaiah 43:1

But now, thus says the LORD, who created you, O Jacob, And He who formed you, O Israel: "Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by your name; You are Mine. "

and John 10:1-3

"Most assuredly, I say to you, he who does not enter the sheepfold by the door, but climbs up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber. But he who enters by the door is the shepherd of the sheep. To him the doorkeeper opens, and the sheep hear his voice; and he calls his own sheep by name and leads them out."

She also brought us to John 20:10-18 when Mary finally recognized Jesus after His resurrection...it was when He called her by name.

There is much power and meaning in a name. Much mystery in a name. God calls us by name if we are one of his children. When someone prays over you by name...wow! When someone blesses you by name...wow. What does your name represent?

It doesn't matter what our heritage is...it doesn't matter what hurts we have had or what we've been through. God takes all of us. Our mighty redeemer proudly proclaims you!

Again, Kelly asks:

We all have a name, history, and a wake of good and bad. How does Boaz's proclamation of Ruth's name and history as he vowed to redeem her bless you in your understanding of what Christ has done for you? (And do you really believe He takes all of you?)

A very powerful question and I think sums up why I have been pondering this over the past week. So as my mind is trying to absorb and understand what the Lord might be trying to teach or heal in me personally...I think about Baby be Blessed and this ministry He has given.

I think about the power of a name and the personalized dolls that carry your child's name.

How mighty that is, standing along side God's word.

I feel one of the reason's God has allowed them to be so special and such a keepsake to children is because it bears their name. It's marked, it's theirs...just as we are marked and belong.

So please always remember to take special time with them.

Read their name out loud to them!

Place their name in scripture!

Pray over them by name!

Praise them by name!

Bless them by name!

Prayer Requests

Let us pray for one another...
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

We are dedicating Wednesday's to prayer.

How can we be praying for you?

"Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much." James 5:16

Please continue to pray over the requests from last week:

Renee' Moniz pray for my left calf to heal quickly...i have a partial tear in the muscle. Thanks!

Lisa H. Poole
Pray for our intercessory prayer group tonite that God would break the power of the enemy attacking people and keeping unbelievers away from God...also keep praying for my son Zach that God would intervene in his life this week in a powerful way! Thanks so much! My friend's son and daughter absolutely were blown away by the scripture lamb. They felt so loved, and that is a great part of your ministry, to show the love of God, personally, thru a scripture chosen as a gift to impart to that one person. Bless you!

* For those in my family. For their salvation. That they would have their eyes and hearts opened to their need for a Savior...

* I have been sexually harassed and made fun of for my religion at my job. I am at the end of my rope. Im praying about leaving next week, with no other job in mind, and I could use some prayers.

* We really need financial breakthrough. We are a month behind on our mortgage and our checking account is always overdrawn. Im tired of living under the weight of debt and not enough.

* Will you pray for String of Pearls? I have had 2 deliveries in Denver this month and 2 more next month. God is moving in amazing ways. We have a fundraising run on Sat. Please pray for a great turnout & for God to present in all we do. Thanks!

* I have had headaches for the past (almost 2 months), Im 27 weeks pregnant and have an almost 2 year old son. Its really hard to deal with the headaches and still have fun with him. Also trying to find a part-time job where I can work from home.

* A friend of mine from High School just lost her 5 month old baby boy after a heart transplant they had waited for since the day he was born. Please pray for peace as they face the loss of their baby boy!

* Please be praying for my husband and I! I am unable to have children due to Ovarian Cancer and we are desperately trying to adopt a baby! This has been a very emotional process!!

* For a healhty pregnancy, no more bleeding, and that our son will be delivered safe and sound in Jan.

* I am praying for The Rippee Family who are waiting SO patiently for their P.A. on the adoption of their daughter in China. I pray for Gods Will to be for this family to be formed and for Gods mighty hand to be seen through their journey!

* That God would clearly show us which child He has chosen for us in our adoption process. Reviewing files of sweet children who all need a home, is so very emotional.

* My best friend who was diagnosed with cervical cancer 2 years ago and underwent a full hysterectomy found a lump in her neck. She has cancer in her esophagus, lungs and liver. She has a 12 year old daughter..please pray for healing~shes only 37.

Too Cute...Tuesday!

Here are the pictures I said I would send...finally! Kylie, Kasha & Ava are so happy to have their dolls, they loved Mya's Lucy doll so much! They all sleep with them and are sure to take them in the van when we go anywhere. They got a lot of attention at their great-grandma's funeral, the pastor even mentioned them in her service! :)

Please keep Mya on your prayer list, we are taking her back in hopefully next week for a re-check, her lumps are still there.

Thanks so much for everything!
xo Erika

Your girls are so beautiful!
Continuing to pray for Mya!
