I'm currently reading Shepherding a Child's Heart by Tedd Tripp.
I've had this book for years and remember going through it when I first got it...but it has hit me with new meaning this time around.
Not sure why...
And not sure why the Holy Spirit had me pick it back up other than the reason, I must have something to learn from it once again.
It is a really good book for anyone who has children or will have children and desires to raise that child up using biblical principles. I love how he discusses all the matters of the heart of a child and our responsibility...our God given duty to raise up that child in Truth.

I've been reading Tattoos On The Heart by Father Gregory Boyle. I have Broken Down House to read in a little bit.
I read that one too then it ended up at my sweet hubby's office & I'm ready to read it again! The first time I read it, I felt like my boys weren't really ready for most of it, but now that they're getting bigger I feel like I need to read the whole thing over to get the full benefit. I also want to read Grace Based Parenting. Have you read that one?

Oh, this is probably my favorite of all the child rearing books I've read!
Thanks! I'll have to check out some of those books! Amber your right,it is more for when your children are old enough to communicate, but I've gained some Biblical principles to use with my 3 yr old whose communication at this point is to scream to get his way! HA!
Very good book that draws you to God's word!
